In this class Joshua Hoffman will be teaching you artistic techniques with crayon. We will explore the subject of Art Brut; a style which included graffiti, and the work of the mentally ill, prisoners, children, and primitive artists that captured the raw expression of a vision or emotions, not limited by convention. In this class we are not worried about how well you can draw; it is all about loosening up and creating with your emotions in mind. Joshua often uses his dreams as subject matter for his works, so there will also be some discussion of dreams and how they can inspire our artworks. The fee for the class is $15 and all supplies are included. The "ticket" holds your spot in the class. The class fee must be paid for separately. We can accept cash or check in person on the day of class or you can send the class fee via venmo to @HOBAHouse.
