This class will introduce the basics of linocut printmaking, allowing you to make all the gift tags your heart desires using simple materials. Linocut is similar to stamping, only you design and carve the "stamp" yourself. This is a great technique for gift tag making and can easily be done at home!

Printmaking is all about creating one piece of art that can be easily reproduced over and over. You will design your gift tags, transfer the design onto linoleum, use carving tools to carve your design, and then use your new stamp to produce a set of gift tags to decorate all your family's gifts with a handmade touch! These stamps can be reused at home to make your own gift wrap too!

Please be aware that we will be using sharp tools for carving in this class and there is some risk to your fingers involved in this…
