In this class we will show you how to use a photo of your pet as a template that you can trace onto canvas and then paint using acrylic paints! This class is beginner friendly and there is no need to be able to draw a realistic dog! You will need to provide the photo of your pet for this class. You can either bring in a photo, printed on regular 8.5 x 11 printer paper, or email your photo to us and we will print it for you! For best results, select a good photo of your pet. Make sure that the photo has good "contrast" with very little in the background. Ideally you'll want to have a photograph that goes from the chest to the head. The pet can be looking forward or to the side. Make sure the main features such as the eyes and nose are clearly visible in the photograph. If you are printing the photo yourself, be sure that it fills the entire 8.5x11 page when printed. If you want us to do the printing email your photo to cloverportartscouncil@gmail.com. If you do not have a good photo of your pet you may want to look for a photo online of the same breed for tracing. You can always customzie a generic photo during the painting process to match the markings of your pet. The fee for this class is $30 and all supplies are included.
