Make something spooky for the halloween season in this beginner-friendly oil pastel drawing class taught by Jay.

In this class, participants will choose a topic related to the season (pumpkins, fall leaves, black cats, etc) using oil pastels. You can choose to look at an image on your phone for reference, or make something up from memory. Oil pastels are kind of like crayons, but creamier, more textured, easier to blend, and able to make richer colors.

You will learn multiple oil pastel specific techniques, plus how to build your composition and use color intentionally.

All materials will be provided. This class is designed for beginners and requires no prior drawing experience. This class has no specific age restrictions. We think everyone will love this class! Please use your best judgement on if this activity is appropriate for your child.
